mutiny knocking so unkindly at my door
i tried to warn my baby but her mind is elsewhere
she's seeing someone else
abandon ship, grief-stricken boy
the further i swam, the more i missed her
and i realized that i loved her more than life itself
the waves crashed and the ocean purged
trying to stop my trek of finding her
i spotted my long-lost vessel, and what did my eyes see?
love in her blackest season
so i murdered them both and destroyed the ship...
ripped it to shreds and cut them to ribbons
i lay dormant in my quarters
hands aquiver, as i grasp the gun
this craft i call home
a shipwreck
take us asunder

Quite possibly the most full-on album I've ever listened to. Intense, and then some. 'Digital Tarpit' could describe both the track and the whole album: high-pitched guitar squeals that make your fillings itch coupled with merciless, suffocating heaviness. The Avenell-esque vocals top it off perfectly.
Brilliant - punishing, but brilliant. jim_fuego
